Biography
Yull Estrada Rodriguez, Iraq, March 25, 2006
Corporal Yull Estrada Rodriguez was born 5 January 1985 in Puerto Rico. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on 23 February 2004, completing Recruit Training and the School of Infantry. Corporal Estrada Rodriguez reported to Lima Company, 3d Battalion, 3d Marines on 24 July 2004, and deployed to Afghanistan with Lima Company in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM from 2004-2005, and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in March 2006. In Iraq, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal on 1 August 2006. On 20 September 2006, Corporal Rodriguez was killed in action.
His personal awards include the Purple Heart and the Combat Action Ribbon.
He is survived by his mother and father.
